Hello there, and welcome to the Meg's Garden Blog!
Thanks for dropping by and joining me today as I share a layout I have created, using the Vintage Journal papers and the Vintage Ladies Ephemera papers.
I have always loved Paris - it's the home of couture fashion, mesmerising perfumes, exquisite cuisine, and wonderful, eye-opening art and culture. What's not to love? So when I found these photos online (I cannot take credit for them - they are not mine), I couldn't help but use them as the focus for a layout to represent the richness and beauty of Paris.
I have layered the paper strip, lace and ribbon to create a focal strip on the page, and highlighted it with a row of rhinestones. The strip of paper has been decorated with a wide border punch.
How gorgeous are these tassels? If I had things my way, I think I would use them on everything - and yes, they come in different colours and sizes.
Have you tried the velvet flowers yet? Oh my, they are so rich and divine, and come in so many beautiful colours. I think I may have to stop myself from hoarding these - they are just so beautiful. But if you are not a fan of velvet flowers, that's alright, as Meg has paper flowers available too, and they are just as gorgeous.
I have finished my layout with gold coated chipboard, and a butterfly cut from the Vintage Ladies Ephemera papers. All in all, I am thrilled with this layout and the rich beauty of the page. When I dream of Paris, this is exactly what I want to imagine.
I hope you have enjoyed this project, and I look forward to my next opportunity to share with you.
