Blooms & a Butterfly Easel Card from Heather

Hello Bloggers

Heather is here to show us her Damask Garden Easel card:

'Hello and a warm welcome
to Megs Garden
Heather with you on this glorious Day in April.
I am showcasing another card with the divine Damask Collection.
this time I have created an easel card
with the bold and beautiful fussy cut blooms .
I added some white and black Rose buds and some open paper flowers.
The chipboard frame is half hidden under the layers
and a Transparent Butterfly rests gently among the blooms.

I built the layers and fussy cutting
on a foundation of Black card.

Megs Garden items used
The Damask Garden Collection:
Blue and cream Damask P6368
 Blue Belle Jardiniere P6380

Off White Open Rose

Mini Rosebuds - White 1cm
Small rectangular Parisian frame
More Butterflies NEW 2/14

This darling little butterfly resting among the blooms adds the perfect touch .

I brushed a little Pan Pastel /Black over the tip of the open paper flowers to blend in with the papers.

the French inspired label and a chippie border strip
is perfect for adhering at the bottom of the card to hold the easel fold in place .

thanks so much for popping by and checking out my Project
here at Megs Garden 'Delights'.
until next time, happy scrapping x'
