Hello Everyone

My Brother and Her have been together for 17 or so years but they Finally got MARRIED
on December 23rd! - Took my brother 4 days to arrange - yep once he makes up his
mind he is "on to it" !!!
I don't mind telling you that when I walked up to say congrats to them and Pam said
"its my Sister- Officially Sisters"
I cried like a baby (who has not been feed for a day) !!

SO - this layout is for you my Darling "Sister"

I have used the Stunning Megs Garden Papers

Caged Damask

French Garden Collection

I have used two sheets and 3Ded the flowers and the cage - these papers
are MADE for layers and layers ! Because of their high quality they
sculpt perfectly (like the butterfly above)

The Dusty in Bloom flowers can also be found at Megs Garden

Until next time - which is really soon

Sandrine's layout is 'Love You'

Hello Bloggers

Sandrine explains her layout using a pic of her beautiful daughter:

'Today I would like to share my take on the sketch for Once Upon A Sketch for February 2013:

"Love You"

For this fabulous challenge I chose to scrapbook about the love for my daughter. I have hidden my journalling (5 reasons why I love her) in Meg's Garden's Test Tube, I cut 5 test strips and wrote my journalling on them using Distress Ink Pen in Scattered Straw.

Here is my journalling:

The main circle was handstitched with yellow thread, I also handstitched a white border around the layout.

The background was created with 'Twinkle Yellow" Glimmermist and Pink Paislee mask, also added La Blanche script stamp using Stampin Up "Barely Banana":

Closie of the beautiful design in paper - purple viny flowers!

This is a fabulous layout showcasing a very beautiful little girl - well done Sandrine.

Love the use of the test tube with your journalling tucked inside & the jewelled pin next to it sitting in a bouquet of the lavender flowers, a hint of lace & topped with a butterfly - all in colours that accent the LO so beautifully.

Adriana's Love is Jessica

Hello Bloggers

This is Adriana's daughter:

'This is a layout of my Darling Daughter. The new papers designed by Denise Ann are great for summer pages. With bright yellows, green and red they are such gorgeous colors to work with.
Love the sketch that Nadia designed but I made a heart shape instead of the circle reflecting on the love theme. The journaling on the side, “ We LOVE you because you are a funny, carefree & beautiful person. You are sensitive, sensible and intelligent. You are our daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend.
You are loved always, live the life you want. Love life everyday.”

Adriana Bolzon you can find me here on my blog

Evgenia's Love Birds

Hello Bloggers

We are still working with OUAS sketch for a layout this month but Evgenia's card totally belongs in the month of Love.

'I adore the designs of Meg's papers... with their help you can recreate the real scene, that is inspired by nature and the wonderful designs. Don't be afraid to fussy cut and to layer papers and embellies... It will come out amazingly!

Here is the list of what  I used:
The base of the card

The Garden of Blue Flowers 103

Birds were cut from this paper

Birds of Paradise

and the central element from this one     The Garden of Blue Flowers

Blue Paradise

Spring Paisley Mini Pk             Spring Paisley Mini Pk

Thank you Meg!
Welcome to my blog http://evgeniapetzer.blogspot.com/'

A very beautiful 'Love' card Evgenia - well done.
The little birds that were cut & sitting in the trees & on the bridge are fabulous;  the little bird house up in the corner with the clock adds a fab touch - the green gives your whole scene pizzazz.  This is a card that will always be framed.

When Hever Gardens meet Meg's Garden....

Hello Bloggers

Sylvie's book belongs here because it is a work of Love.  It is based on a visit to Hever Castle & Gardens - the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.  It is a double moated castle built in the 13th Century & has 125acres of gardens - Kent, UK.  The Love of Anne Boleyn & King Henry VIII is legendary & appropriate for the month of Love.

Sylvie explains her book:

'It's a fabric mini album with pockets in which I slipped tags and photos.  The fabric was stamped, inked and embellished with the fabulous Meg's Garden papers... I cut patterns in different papers and I admit I was a bit scared to cut out these so beautiful papers...I even glued the paper flower patterns on my photos and I love the result...
I used for this creation:
French Garden Collection - Collage Cartouche, French Bouquet, Mini Paper Pack, Rose Collage, Le Belle Jardin.
embellishment clock sm

and now i have a wonderful memories of my visit to Hever Gardens...
hugs Sylvie'

The book is so beautiful & what a fabulous way to remember a special trip to a special place - well done Sylvie.  Love all your fussy cutting & overlay of the papers on the photos - great when pics are tucked into a project - it makes them seem to belong.  The pockets are a great way to add some special tags, photos & souvenirs.

Ulrika's Love is Motherhood

Hello Bloggers

Ulrika explains her layout:

'It was so fun to create after this gorgeous sketch! And the papers I used are totally to die for!  On my background I used Satin & Flowers from The Couture collection. I really love how lush it makes it look. Inside my chipboard clock I wanted a light and feminine paper and chose the pretty French Bird Cage paper from Le Belle Jardin Collection. At Meg´s shop you can also find the luxury red velvet flower called Pansy. Behind all my flowers I put some green leaves. Can´t live without some fussy cutting!
Hope you liked it! Hugs from Ulrika!'

What a beautiful layout & the expressions & smiles with the word 'Motherhood' are so fabulous - well done Ulrika. Totally love it.  The flowers, little birds & the fussy cutting are so elegant.
