An Elegant-Style Wedding from Chantal

Hi!

'Today I've a somewhat "elegant-style" wedding layout to share with you all.  I have used Stuck?! sketch for this one, entitled "Laura & Robert"...

I have used the delightful Spring Paisley Collection by Meg's Garden for this layout.  The base paper for the layout and for the three rectangular blocks is "Pale Pink Paisley" and I have fussy cut and used images (for the rectangular blocks) from "Green Eau de Lavande".

This layout would officially have the "fussiest" cutting I've ever done - and I'm quite proud of it.  Lol!  The paper is a very good quality where I had no problem at all cutting out the tiniest and skinniest stems.

After all this fussy cutting, I was left with a fussy cut negative image, that I laid onto my layout and used as a mask with mist in three places.  So I also got some "fussy misting" on here too!

I have used the actual wedding invitation on my layout to form part of the journalling and for the title.  The invitation was so simple and elegant and it had all the vital information about the first wedding that my girls have attended.

I used decorative scissors to cut a square shape (similar in size to the photos) from the original invitation (which was originally postcard size) and I've tab punched two other parts of the invite and tucked them under the photos.

The little addition of that key charm really added that something extra to the title square, don't you think?  It's very detailed... love metal charms - especially when they are that particular "vintage dirty gold" colour. :)

These flowers and papers lend themselves so well to FWAB Jack Vine in Olive Green and FWAB Jack Vine in Black.
Both vines have been cut to maximise their length and I have played around quite a fair bit with the black vine, layering the leaves for a different clustered look.

I have also used FWAB Adhesive Pearls in Pearl colour to emphasise the fussy cut skeleton leaves (placing some pearls inside some of the existing circles which are already on the design) and to make little trails for the butterflies (tried and true bling use! Lol!).

Well that's all from me for now!

Have a great day!

Cheers,
Chantal :)
